Wyoming Capitol Square
She was born in 1886, endured harsh winters and persisted through many historic
milestones. So when she was finally green lighted for a much needed makeover:
restoration, renovation and expansion, the four year Capital Square project employed
3,900 people, two-thirds of whom were local residents.
This legislative landmark required delicate attention to correct crumbling concrete and
disintegrating pipes, not to mention reopening the original quarry to match the building’s
stonework.
