 Parting Shots The Burns School Placing High in Student Competitions  Associated Schools of Construction - International Student Competition in Sparks, NV - 02/06 - 02/09, 2019 The Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate & Construction Management  Then Burns School Masters students took 3rd place, out of 13 schools, in the Integrated Project Management competition, beating out teams from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, University of Southern California, University of California, Berkeley; Auburn University: University of Oklahoma and Colorado State University. From left: Nicholas Allen, David Copperman, Trip Heaverly, Dr. Jackson, Nick Anastasi, Chase Baron, Eric Rymarz and Adjunct Professor Joe Hanlin.   The Burns School Undergrad team took 5th place out of 11 team in the Mixed-Use competition. From left: Ian Buie, Jake Rosencranz, Ryan Bell, Brooks Boss, Alex Munzel, and Drew Scott The Burns School also took 4 alternate students to fill in as needed and also to get exposure for next year’s competition. All the alternates were randomly arranged into teams and competed in their own alternate competition. Burns School alternate students, Doug Peterson was on the team that won the alternate competition! Needless to say, he will be invited to compete with the undergrad team next year.
