Associated Schools of Construction - International Student Competition in Prague Czech Republic, 11/12/2018 ASC (Associated Schools of Construction) International Competition 2018 - 1st Place! This is a new competition for the University of Denver’s Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management. Prof Daniel Trujillo took two senior Construction Management students to Prague, Czech Republic to compete in the ASC Region 8 Competition. Burns students Ryan Teater and Charley White joined with two students from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). Teams came from across the US and Europe including Auburn, Birmingham, Oklahoma, California, Colorado, Dublin, Liverpool, Prague, Reading and Salford. Sherman Miller Real Estate Competition, Hosted by Colorado State University, 11/02/2018 Sherman Miller Real Estate Challenge - 1st Place! Congratulations to the University of Denver, Burns School of Real Estate & Construction Management team for taking 1st place the Sherman Miller Competition on Nov 2. NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Student Competition - Las Vegas - 02/20/2019 The Burns School undergraduate students took 3rd place out of 37 schools! The competition gives students the opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom to a real construction company by completing a management project/proposal. Proposals are submitted to a group of construction company executives who act as judges. During the convention, students defend their proposals to the judges in front of an audience.
