Construction Health and Safety Excellence (CHASE)
AGC has seen strong involvement from members with our
partnership with OSHA. Earlier this year at the Breakfast
with the Board Safety Awards, we were able to celebrate 21
member companies participating in the partnership. In 2019
the Partnership grew from 20 companies to 23.

Colorado Stormwater Excellence Program (CSEP)
The CSEP has maintained great participation this year by
continuing to work closely with 13 returning companies on
their Stormwater programs. Earlier this year the Colorado
Stormwater Excellence Program Advisory Board welcomed
Howell Construction as the newest company to join the CSEP.

Pinnacol Safety Group
The Pinnacol Safety Group is comprised of 26 policies. There are
stringent requirements to join the Safety Group and each company
has strong safety programs and injury management systems in place
because every company depends on each other to share in the possible reward of a generous dividend.
Given the AGC’s safety group’s performance and the safety group dividend loss ratio of 21.9%, AGC was
pleased to inform the group that they earned a total dividend of $539,348 to be shared.

Fire Safety Task Force
In 2018, AGC established a Fire Safety Task Force. The purpose of the Task Force is to raise awareness
and provide resources to help members be proactive in the prevention of fires and respond to a crisis
should one occur. The Task Force has developed 12 Fire Safety Bulletins that are published each month.
